The Thrive Signature Treatment
Outsource your skin to our team.
A customised, low-downtime treatment for every skin. Your skin. Our expertise. A plan made for you.
What is the Thrive Signature Treatment?
The Thrive Signature Treatment is our foundational treatment: a customised, low-downtime clinical session that treats different layers of the skin at once, finished with a touch of luxury. Each session is tailored on the day to your concerns and how much downtime you can have. I’ve honed these doctor-led protocols for busy women who want evidence-based results that fit around their lives. Book it as a standalone treatment, or as part of our monthly membership, where we come to know your skin and refine each session as it grows more resilient, always with the concerns of perimenopause in mind.
How does it work?
The Signature Treatment works on both the skin surface and the dermis, using different modalities in one session. A hydrating peel works at the surface, gently exfoliating and rehydrating to improve texture and congestion and strengthen the skin barrier. A long-pulsed laser then delivers controlled heat into the dermis to reduce redness and inflammation, stimulate collagen, refine pores and soften fine lines.
At each session, your treatment is stepped up as your skin becomes more resilient. It’s a low-downtime treatment, and most patients leave with glowing skin.
Who is it suitable for?
It’s used for all skin types, including sensitive and red skin, rosacea, hormonal acne, dry ageing skin, dullness and loss of glow, congestion and uneven texture, enlarged pores and fine lines, and for patients who want to focus on proactive age management. I designed the Signature protocols with perimenopausal skin in mind, which is often sensitive, dehydrated and barrier-impaired at the same time as it’s losing collagen. It also suits women who want to combat the signs of ageing without synthetic injectables.
What is the treatment plan?
Before starting treatment you’ll need a consultation, where we customise a treatment plan to your concerns. As a one-off, the Signature Treatment is designed to leave your skin hydrated and glowing. Done as a series, it’s progressive: we begin at low settings to restore your skin barrier and hydration, then move the peel and laser settings to more clinical parameters as your skin tolerates more. Many patients start with the 12-Week Skin Reset (six Signature Treatments fortnightly, with a full-sized medical skincare regime), then continue on a monthly Signature Treatment membership.
How do I prepare?
Avoid vitamin C, vitamin A (retinol) and exfoliants in the treatment area for 2 days before your appointment. Don’t use spray tan, or expose the skin to strong sun, for one to two weeks before your treatment. If you have a history of cold sores in the treatment area, please let our team know.
What can I expect during the treatment?
The peel is applied first, then the laser passes over the skin, which most patients describe as a warm, prickling sensation. The treatment takes around 45 minutes and is designed to be a restorative experience rather than a clinical ordeal.
Is there any downtime?
There’s minimal downtime. Immediately after treatment your skin may be slightly pink and feel warm for a few hours, settling into a glow. Some patients notice mild flaking over the following few days, depending on the peel used. Mineral makeup can be applied straight away, and you can return to your usual activities immediately.
What are the risks?
This is a combination treatment that involves a light medical peel and a gentle laser. It can cause some redness, mild swelling or darkening of pigmentation, and the skin may shed or peel in the week after treatment. We adjust the settings to your downtime and skin concerns, so check in with us on the day, especially if you have an important event coming up. As with any peel or laser treatment, there’s a risk of prolonged redness, post-inflammatory pigmentation (particularly in deeper skin types), cold sore reactivation where there’s a history of it, and, rarely, blistering or a burn. Treatment isn’t performed over active infection or broken skin. Protective eyewear is worn throughout, as intense light can permanently damage the eye.
What is the cost?
At your consultation, our team will assess your concerns and give you an individualised treatment plan and quote, including any relevant memberships or packages.

Your questions answered
Will it be painful? No anaesthetic is needed. The peel may sting briefly, and your clinician stays with you throughout and adjusts as needed.
When will I see results? After a Signature Treatment, most patients find their skin feels smooth and holds a glow for the next one to two weeks. Longer-lasting improvements build with regular treatment: less redness and inflammation, clearer skin, less flushing and sensitivity, and smaller-looking pores and finer lines.
How is it different from a facial? The Signature Treatment is a clinical treatment that works on the surface and deeper layers of the skin, improves the skin barrier and reduces inflammation. A facial is more of a relaxing treatment that works on the surface of the skin.
Is it suitable for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin? Yes. Because the peel and settings are chosen for your skin on the day, we can start at a level that sensitive or barrier-impaired skin will tolerate.
Is it suitable for acne or congested skin? Yes. If your skin is very oily you may get some breakouts in the early stages, so we plan for that. Your first few treatments use different peels and less heat, and we build from there as your skin settles.
Can I have it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? Yes. We adapt the treatment for pregnancy and breastfeeding, using gentle peels and low-energy laser such as Laser Genesis, or non-laser options if you prefer. Please let your clinician know, so the right combination is chosen for you.
Can I have it before an event? Yes. It’s one of the few clinical treatments that suits the week of an event, because there’s minimal downtime. Allow a few days if you’d rather any mild flaking had settled first.
Can I have it in summer? Yes, as long as you keep up strict daily SPF. Your clinician will take recent sun exposure into account when choosing your settings.
How do I start?
Every Signature Treatment plan starts with a consultation with me. Choose a 30-minute skin consultation if you’re coming for your skin, or a 60-minute integrated consultation if you’re in perimenopause and want a comprehensive approach to your hormones, skin and metabolic health. A skin check is needed before laser, to assess any pigmented lesions.
Integrated Initial Consultation with Dr Grant (60 minutes): $505
Skin & Cosmetic Consultation (30 minutes): $255
