To ensure comfort, Dr Grant compounds a ustomised topical local anaesthetic. Some patients find the procedure mildly uncomfortable especially on bony areas such as the forehead. You can take paracetamol prior to your procedure if you wish. If you have red or sensitive skin, take an antihistamine or natural anti- inflammatory supplement for 2 days prior to your treatment and 3 days after.

Is there any downtime after Skin Pen MicroNeedling? Your skin will be red, dry and tight for a few days, and feel like a light sunburn. Mild swelling, especially around the eye area, is common.
