Rejuran polynucleotide is a regenerative medicine treatment that upregulates cellular repair pathways. Rejuran contains DNA fragments - polynucleotides- extracted from wild salmon. What is the Recommended Treatment Plan? We recommend a course of 3 treatments with intervals of 2-3 weeks between sessions, followed by a treatment every 6-12 months for maintenance.

What can I expect on the day of treatment? Please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment wiht makeup free skin so we can apply a strong topical anaesthteic to the treatment are. While there may be some initial slight swelling or papules on the treated area immediately after the treatment – this will subside within 24-48 hours, and you can go about your day activities as usual.

What is the aftercare? In Avoid excessive heat such as long , hot showers, saunas and exercising un til the local swelling has subsided. Refrain from active skin care and massage or rubbing to the treatment area until the skin has settled back to normal. You may apply a cool compress to the area.

Are there any side effects or possible risks? As with all injectable treatments, brusing should be expected, especially around the eye region. Rejuran is composed of highly bio-compatible DNA fragments very similar to those found in our body. For this reason, it has a favourable risk profile and has not been associated with vascular or inflammatory events.

Multimodality Treatments Rejuran works well in combination with a heat based devices such as Tixel and Ultraclear Laser to improve skin integrity or scarring.
