Dr Jemima Grant MBBS (Hons) FRACGP

Dr Jemima Grant is the medical director of Thrive Skin Clinic and an experienced General Practitioner , with over 15 years experience in medicine. Her special interests of dermatology, women’s health and holistic medicine led her to open Thrive in 2017.

Dr Grant has a keen interest in managing adult acne and rosacea with prescribed home care, medications and laser treatments. Having suffered acne and rosacea herself, Jemima understands the negative impact skin conditions can have on self esteem and the confusion people face with so many treatments on offer. She is also passionate about the natural results Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and skin needling can achieve- you can find her in the chair every 6 months having a regular Vampire facial!

Jemima received the national medal for her fellowship exam in 2011 and never stops learning- she is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, teaches doctors in training and is a member of the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine.


Anna Dawson R.N. 

Anna Dawson brings with her a wealth of experience, training and knowledge. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 15 years and specialises in field of dermatology and non - surgical cosmetic treatments.

Anna has a friendly and thorough approach and will take the time to listen to what you want, understand your needs and provide advice to achieve natural results through injectables, laser, cosmeceuticals or a combination approach. Of special interest to Anna is managing the mature face and using multiple modalities to get a natural and refreshed outcome.

Anna is our most experienced dermal filler practitioner and has a knack for sculpting cheekbones and naturally luscious lips with minimal discomfort due to her use of advanced filler techniques.

Anna has completed Dermal Science courses through the Australian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS) as well as her certificate in IPL/Laser Safety.


Amanda Whitty R.N. 

Amanda has been a registered nurse for over 5 years and has completed training with Allergan and Galderma, the global market leaders in cosmetic medicine, to become a cosmetic nurse and an expert in non-surgical cosmetic medicine.

Amanda keeps up to date with the latest techniques and technologies by attending conferences annually and regular continuing education. She is currently studying to completing an Advanced Laser and IPL certificate.

Her passion is helping people look their best, to look natural, feel confident and to offer an exceptional customer service experience to each of her clients. Amanda prides herself on giving each patient individualised treatment plans to suit all ages, budgets and goals.

Amanda is currently on maternity leave and will return in May 2019..


Emma Flanergan

Emma is a dedicated Dermal Therapist who has been in the beauty and dermatology industry for 18 years and is passionate about helping her clients feel good about their skin. Originally trained as a beauty therapist, she upgraded her qualifications with the Australian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science and has worked for many years helping people to achieve their skin goals. She has her IPL/Laser certificate and is our advanced laser technician.

Emma’s favourite treatment is correcting acne and acne scars with a combination of peels, IPL and resurfacing. She is also a whizz at vascular laser treatments including rosace and spider vein treatments. Due to her background in beauty, she also delivers a great medifacial!
