Have you ever wondered how celebrities maintain their beautiful complexions, despite ageing? Although cosmetic injectable treatments target lines and volumise the face, they don’t significantly change your complexion. Beauty Booster treatments do exactly that, which is why they have revolutionised the beauty industry over the last decade.

Beauty Booster treatments are composed of very fine hydrating agents, antioxidants and nutrients, injected into the dermis using a V2 injector device which allows us to quickly, accurately and safely inject into the upper parts of the skin. Using this device significantly reduces bruising and downtime, which is more common with manual injection.

Most clients see improvement in their skin 2-3 weeks following their initial treatment including improved skin hydration, clarity and complexion. These improvements continue over time

All ages and genders can benefit from a Beauty Booster Treatment – it can prevent the visible effects of ageing and reverses some of the signs of ageing, and the results are subtle. Many people choose this treatment if they have concerns about anti- wrinkle treatments or dermal fillers, due to the natural aesthetic beauty boosters produce.


Booking

Dr Grant will assess your suitability for injectable treatments annually either in person or via Skype.

Procedure Time
30 minutes. We advise you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment time if you’d like topical anaesthetic applied.

Recommended Treatment Plan
Our recommended course is 3 sessions at 3-6 week intervals, with one maintenance session 1-2 times per year.

Planning
You should plan any special events at least 2 weeks after your treatment.

Downtime / Aftercare
You may experience mild swelling, redness and bruising after this treatment, as well as tiny bumps at the injection site. These generally settle in a few days. Bruising may take longer to settle, but is reduced if you have a Healite 2 treatment post injection. Ice and paracetamol may be used to manage discomfort. Clean mineral makeup or concealer may be applied 24 hours after your treatment.

Complementary Treatments
Beauty Boosters work well in conjunction with cosmetic injections (dermal filler, anti-wrinkle injections), Hydrafacial, and Tixel.

Pricing

Treatment costs are based on the amount used. A 3ml treatment will suffice

  • 1ml (small area e.g. eyes, cheeks) $380

  • 3ml (enough for full face) $750

Due to Australian Medical Board guidelines we are unable to advertise brands of anti- wrinkle treatments. We use premium TGA  approved products and this should be taken into consideration if comparing prices.

Special considerations

  • Not suitable in pregnancy or for breast feeding women.

  • If you have had cold sore in the treatment area we advise using an antiviral prophylaxis before and after your treatment. Talk to us about this before your appointment.
