At Thrive Skin Clinic, we are passionate about helping you feel healthy, rejuvenated and beautiful. We want you to love and nurture your skin and body, whatever your age or concern. Our treatment philosophy embraces a natural aesthetic, individualised treatment, current medical evidence and holistic care.
Why Choose Us?
At Thrive Skin Clinic you will only be treated by experienced professionals with years of training and experience.
We value education and strive to use only evidence based interventions. We apply an intelligent and individualised approach to facial rejuvenation - there is "no one size fits all" approach.
Thrive Skin Clinic is the only female owned and operated medical cosmetic and laser clinic in the Illawarra. As women, we have a unique aesthetic perspective with a focus on natural looking beauty and we are committed caring for our patients and delivering great customer service.
We will take before and after photos of your treatments and followup with you regularly - we want you to feel satisfied with your treatments and become our ambassadors.
Consultations and Fees
A skin consultation is an opportunity for us to discuss your skin concerns and goals, outline treatment options and customise a treatment plan. We follow up with our clients every 3-4 months to review progress. We only suggest treatments we have tried or would use ourselves - we don’t want you to waste your money on unproven expensive treatments. We offer consultations over the phone and skype. Your customised cosmeceuticals, medication scripts, and doctor- only Synergie products can be mailed directly to your home or office.
Dr Grant will be available at the clinic on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons to see clients in person and via Skype. She also runs a cosmetic clinic on the last Tuesday of every month in the rooms above Bulli Medical Practice. If you have a medical condition, a medicare rebate may be applicable for face- to- face appointments and some laser treatments. Cosmetic consultations do not attract a medicare rebate.
We are professionals and our time, like yours, is valuable. A non-refundable fee of $50 fee may taken upon confirmation of your appointments. This fee will act as a cancellation fee if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to your appointment time. Appointments can be transferred to a later date if advised with enough notice.
Everyone’s skin is unique and responds differently to treatment. Results vary from one patient to another but with decades of experience we can advise on typical results.
Dr Jemima Grant FRACGP
Dr Jemima Grant is the medical director of Thrive Skin Clinic. Jemima is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in dermatology, women’s health and holistic medicine.
Dr Grant was motivated to open Thrive Skin Clinic after encouragement from her regular patients who wanted someone they could trust to offer aesthetic treatments and advice on skin care.
Of special interest to Dr Grant are laser treatments, especially photofractional treatments for rosacea and pigment and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments, which offer a natural approach to skin rejuvenation and healthy skin. Having suffered acne and rosacea herself, Jemima understands the negative impact skin conditions can have on self esteem and the confusion people face with so many treatments on offer. She has a good working relationship with local dermatologists and plastic surgeons and refers when required.
Jemima is a well regarded doctor who has been practising medicine for over 15 years. She received the national medal for her fellowship exam in 2011 and never stops learning- she is currently studying post graduate courses in Women’s Health and Aesthetic Medicine. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Injecting. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine.
